Singapore RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Full time

We are seeking a highly capable Principal Structural Engineer with a proven track record in the design and delivery of complex building structures across a variety of project typologies, including mixed-use, residential, retail, commercial developments etc.
- Lead and oversee the structural design process across all project phases, including concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction support.
- Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity and quality assurance of all structural deliverables.
- Manage structural analysis, 3D modelling, calculations, specifications, and design documentation using industry-leading software.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve compliant, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions.
- Guide the team through authority submissions and statutory approval processes.
- Lead resource planning, budget control, and programme tracking for structural packages on major projects.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, particularly in advanced digital workflows and technical skills.
- Contribute to business development efforts, client presentations, fee proposals, and strategic planning.
- Drive innovation within the team, encouraging exploration of sustainable design practices, digital engineering, and off-site solutions.

**Core Competencies & Attributes**:

- Strong knowledge of structural engineering software: Robot, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP, RAM, Tedds, and CSC.
- Working knowledge of Revit/Dynamo and Rhino/Grasshopper is a distinct advantage.
- Proven leadership and team management experience within multidisciplinary environments.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills - able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Committed to high ethical standards and professional integrity, aligned with company values and legal compliance.
- Knowledge of international and regional standards, including American, Eurocodes, and relevant Middle East codes.

**What you will need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, including at least 5 years in the Middle East.
- Demonstrable experience with international design consultancies delivering large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
- Deep understanding of authority requirements and local design codes in the UAE and wider Middle East region.
- Proven success in leading teams and delivering structural packages across multiple sectors on time and within budget.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Chartered membership (e.g., ICE, IStructE) or equivalent professional certification.
- Master’s degree in structural engineering or related field is advantageou
- Dubai Municipality G+Unlimited accreditation and/or equivalent certification from local Middle East authorities.
