At Hudson River Trading (HRT), we build algorithms to trade across global markets, and make the world's markets more efficient. Algo Software Engineers (AEs) are programmers who develop the software that powers our trading and research.

We're looking for an Algo Software Engineer to join one of our growing trading teams in Singapore. As an Algo Software Engineer on the Options Market Making team, you will build and maintain critical trading infrastructure and research tooling for options trading on major APAC exchanges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with researchers and traders to help build and expand our APAC options business
- Projects might include implementing new order execution logic, integrating with FPGAs for faster trading, solving performance and scaling issues, and building out datasets and tooling to accelerate research.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced C++ experience is required, daily use preferred
- Familiarity with Python preferred
- Superior design, debugging, and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems (we use Linux), system/processor performance, and network communication
- Experience collaborating closely with quantitative researchers & traders preferred
- Experience working on an options system preferred
