Climate Impact X (CIX) is a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace that aims to scale the voluntary carbon market; through a joint venture by DBS, SGX, Standard Chartered and Temasek.

CIX offers distinct platforms and products that cater to the needs of different carbon credit buyers and sellers. The Exchange facilitates the sale of large-scale high-quality carbon credits through standardised contracts - catering primarily to MNCs and institutional investors. The Project Marketplace and Auction offer a curated selection of NCS projects that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. Each project on the Project Marketplace and Auction is supported by transparent impact, risk and pricing data.

**Cloud Engineer**

CIX is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to architect, expand and manage our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The Cloud Engineer should bring substantial experience of best practice for cloud optimisation, in particular security. Working with in and out of house development teams the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for being the CIX cloud SME for all initiatives as well as ensuring SLAs are continually met.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Using the latest principles and technologies design, plan, support, and maintain Cloud Infrastructure build and operations to meet and exceed requirements
- Help architect solutions to meet business needs, ensuring the security and technical viability of new projects and successful deployments
- Work with our Security Team to ensure the cloud is secured by design, continuously monitored, and audited to ensure compliance
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in key projects, bringing cutting edge technical knowledge to help ensure success and fulfilment potential

**Key Requirements**:

- More than 5 years' hands on experience as a cloud engineer, at least 2 of which using Microsoft Azure
- Experience in a SaaS type environment, with service consumption by
- Proven experience in architecting, developing and maintaining complex, performant and secure cloud infrastructure
- Deep understanding of cloud-based Networking, Security, Storage, Management, DR, BCP and using these in combination to solve complex challenges
- Desirable to have an understanding of SDLC and agile methodology, having led or participated in sprint based work
- A broad set of technology skills in micro service design patterns and technology architecture concepts
- A problem solving mindset, willing to drive projects and issue resolution to conclusion
