Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management, and development consultancy. We are well-established in Singapore and currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven** Principal Structural Engineer** to join our Buildings sector in our Singapore office. You will be working on exciting projects across a variety of buildings (instituitional, commercial, industrial etc).

Your opportunity_**

This is an opportunity to be involved in building structures projects of various sizes across Singapore and in the Asia region. This will be a role that will be challenging, varied, and demanding while offering fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development.

The other duties include:_**
- Undertake detailed design in foundation, concrete and steelworks structures.
- Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution.
- Provide design sketches and reports required for schematic, design development and constructions phases of projects.
- Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis as required for the statutory submission.
- Attending technical / progress meeting with clients and inspections during construction.

**About You**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineering Board (Singapore).
- Minimum 8 years post graduate experience with an engineering consulting background background in Building Structures across a variety of projects
- Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot, TSD, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE etc.
- Experience with complex structural design.
- Familiar with the latest international codes of practice (Singapore Code, Eurocode etc).
- Familiar with Revit and delivering projects in BIM.
- Willing to mentor junior colleagues.
