**Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Business Analyst/Quality Assurance (BA/QA) Intern. This position will involve conducting market research, business intelligence analysis, competitor analysis, and studying client requirements. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our app by conducting thorough testing and identifying areas for improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to gather insights into industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Perform business intelligence analysis to identify potential opportunities, risks, and areas for business growth.
- Assist in studying client requirements, documenting business processes, and identifying functional specifications for software development.
- Conduct thorough testing of the app's features, functionality, and usability to identify bugs, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Document and track defects, ensuring their timely resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the app meets quality standards and user expectations.
- Assist in the creation of user documentation, training materials, and support resources.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA testing methodologies.
- Working with SIT & UAT Testing Team, reviewing, testing scenarios, test cases and helping developers and testers in clearing their doubts about the requirements
- Recording defects utilizing defect tracking tool with priority and severity and alert the management
- Conduct analysis on the risk and benefits for the proposed solutions
- Develop story map and wireframe
- Document post-test evidence of expected results or defects
- Prepare progress reports and training documents
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing in accordance with the implementation plan

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of business processes, market dynamics, and customer-centric approaches.
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software testing tools and bug tracking systems is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for quality.
- Proficient in Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc.), and other MS tool
- Knowledge of hands-on experience in visual modelling (BPMN, UML, Story mapping, mind-mapping)
- Has experience in prototyping (wireframes, sketches & storyboarding). Figma is preferred
