**What the role is**
- Arts and Heritage Division (AHD)'s mission is to develop the arts and heritage sectors to realise their full potential in contributing to our nation's social, cultural and economic development, and to realise our vision of being a Global City for Arts and Culture. You will help conceptualise business strategies to transform how technology is used and experienced in Singapore’s arts and heritage sector.

**What you will be working on**
- You will play a part in shaping Singapore's arts and heritage landscape and creating an environment conducive to excellence in the sector, developing connections between Singaporeans, and positioning Singapore globally through culture. You will support MCCY’s efforts to contribute to a caring people, a cohesive society, and a confident and united nation. You will develop specialist knowledge of and monitor trends and developments in the arts and heritage sector, including adjustments required as a result of COVID-19. You will work closely with political appointment holders, senior management, public officers in other Ministries, key Statutory Boards such as the National Arts Council and the National Heritage Board, as well as cultural institutions such as national museums and arts venues. You will also work with economic agencies to develop the arts and heritage sector. As a Policy Officer, you will be required to provide policy and planning analysis and advice on key areas such as sector and industry development strategies programmes and initiatives, partnerships with key stakeholders, and cultural diplomacy. You will have the opportunity to participate in division-, organisation
- and public sector-wide initiatives.

**What we are looking for**
- Key competencies include: a) Strong analytical and writing skills with strategic perspective when formulating proposals b) Strong engagement and collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels c) Interest in the arts and heritage sector is preferred d) At least 2 years of working experience, with public service experience an advantage *All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
