**Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) Core - AVP**

As a Barclays Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) Core - AVP, you’ll be part of The PDS Core team, which sits within IB Operations. The product focus is predominately Cleared Derivatives sitting under Prime Derivative Services (PDS) encompassing Futures, OTC & FX PB. The PDS Core team is responsible managing the day to day operations processing including oversight of stakeholder escalations, margin requirements, vendor surveillance, regulatory reporting, new business reviews, and review of exchange and regulatory requirements.

**What will you be doing?**
- Focusing on ensuring overall operations delivery
- Interacting with senior business stakeholders, exchanges, and external vendors to ensure day to day compliance, adapting and advising on the changing landscapes in the market
- Understanding the needs of the client, business and regulator while articulating our requirements constructively to develop a win-win strategy for both the client and firm
- Covering predominately APAC domiciled clients base consisting of financial institutions, fund managers, pension and hedge funds
- Managing client trade flow, settlement, commission, operations day to day activities, business’s initiatives and exchanges’ initiatives
- Escalating any issues to senior operations and business account management

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Financial services experience - preferably Futures&Options / OTC Clearing / FXPB
- Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and execute a plan to deliver effective tactical and strategic solutions

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- High level knowledge of multiple functions from the trade lifecycle
- Detailed knowledge of Foreign Exchange
- Detailed knowledge of OTC Derivatives
