**About CTO Office Engineering Intern Role**
- We are looking for an intern to join the Office of CTO and help drive substantial improvements in the way software is built & delivered at Endowus.
- You can expect to work in a fast-paced environment where we innovate through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- You will help us instrument and measure various software development activities using robust, scalable, and performant implementations.
- Using data generated from the instrumentation, you’ll analyse and suggest targeted improvements in improving our software delivery processes.
- You will also be supporting in building and managing the platform tooling and infrastructure that enable our whole Engineering team to develop, test and deliver features efficiently and safely.
- You will need to leverage the entire technology stack to realize these goals and will be part of a team that is constantly tackling difficult questions of scale, architecture, and interaction.
- You will be working closely with the CTO and key engineering leaders to drive high-priority initiatives that would influence the company’s future growth.
- To bring initiatives to completion, you will collaborate with various engineering teams and business units.
**Requirements**:

- Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Able to commit to a 10 weeks internship or longer
- Able to work independently while being a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
- Some fluency with hands-on software development and a strong understanding of SDLC activities.
- Ability to analyse data (e.g. using SQL or Excel)
- Knowledge of CI/CD practises is a plus.
- Knowledge in at least one of the JVM languages such as Java, Scala is a plus
- Motivated, positive attitude, responsible and proactive.
- Passionate in learning and working with new technologies.
- Self-driven, has a strong sense of ownership and able to work and learn independently with minimum supervision
- Comfortable with numbers and motivated by steep learning curves.
