Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry. **Responsibilities**: - Under broad direction, incumbent is responsible for the development and administration of long term spare parts planning or production planning schedules to control work flow and ensure the most efficient use of available resources in meeting customer requirements and deadlines - Responsible for providing expert recommendations on material requirements planning (MRP) settings, > 1 year of demand forecasting, and management of inventory levels - Applies Theory of Constraints to resolve bottlenecks, performs inventory management functions to optimize material flow. - Loads and maintains demand management master plan. Conducts production planning coordination meetings with different functional teams, obtains feedback from PSL and internal stakeholders and use those inputs to determine appropriate master build plan/ inventory levels to meet the business' requirements - Has expertise to execute: Forecasting, Order Promising, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Management, and Inventory Turns. - Additionally, role will provide coaching and training to junior planners and in some cases serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams ranging from 3-10 employees - Will have direct impact and responsibility to meet financial goals and objectives for the business **Requirements**: - Degree in Supply chain, Computer Science, Applied Math or Business is preferred - At least 8 years related experience in demand or production planning which may include experience in procurement. - Must have SAP knowledge and able to write Excel Macro - Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems required - Ability to handle more than 1K of SKU **Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
