Two Research Officers positions are available at the Molecular Neurotherapeutics
- Laboratory at the National Neuroscience Institute. The lab is interested in understanding
- how the immune microenvironment influences brain tumour invasion.- experience in molecular biology and cell culture is required.- including, but not limited to
- Independently carry out the design and execution of the research project
- Contribute to project management, including preparing oral presentations and written report
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the laboratory
- Assist in laboratory management including ethics approval, procurement of consumables, maintaining laboratory records and safety protocols
- Perform other research-related duties related to the daily running of the laboratory as assigned by the Principal Investigator

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a research laboratory.
- Previous experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques is essential
- Experience in mouse work is a plus, but not necessary.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively with precision
- Meticulous in record keeping and possess good organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills as an effective team player
