- This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources (HR) functions for both Validus Re and Talbot in Singapore in collaboration with the respective entity CEOs and the AIG Head of Human Resources - Asia Pacific. The role will also support the Learning for AIG APAC.- Lead and direct all HR deliverables and initiatives that align with business strategies.
- Partner with the entity CEOs on all aspect of HR - including organizational design, talent planning, employee training and development, diversity initiatives and strategy, employee relations and individual coaching.
- Provide HR specific inputs to the development and execution of strategies, execution plans and budget.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) and client groups to effectively design, implement, communicate, manage and enhance HR programs and initiatives.
- Drive performance management actions with enity CEOs, including ensuring working familiarity with performance management tolls, programs and guidelines.
- Provide HR project leadership on significant business events.
- Lead the talent review and succession process by partnering with entity CEOs in identifying development plans to address key skills and knowledge gaps.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with local regulation and company policies and responsible for HR risk management.
- Oversee and efficiently manage all general HR administration matters, including payroll administration and validation.
- Manage the renewal and administration for all company benefits (Employee medical and life insurance etc.)
- Provide end-to-end recruitment to Validus Re and Talbot in Singapore.
- Support AIG APAC HR projects including learning and recruitment matters.
- What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of progressive human resources experience including business partnering, learning, recruitment, benefits and operations
- Experience in the financial service industry is desired
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Established ability to build relationships, internally and externally
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong analytical and project management skills, as well as use of data to drive results
