Solution Architect

- Lead, manage, and ensure successful delivery of projects while maintaining adherence to principles, guidelines, and best practices.
- Design solutions that integrate effectively with existing systems, leveraging the most appropriate tools and technologies.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and bridge the gap between users and technology.
- Provide deep technical expertise to evaluate solution proposals and specifications.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business units to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural specifications.
- To conceptualize and design the end-to-end architectural solutions by leveraging enterprise-wide technology and analytics platforms to implement effective IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Resolve technical problems and constraints.
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Continuously research emerging technologies and propose relevant changes.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in solution architect role, with significant experience leading and facilitating solution conceptualisation sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
- Proficiency in software architecture principles, design patterns and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing reusable components, microservices, containers and Kubernetes.
- Prior experience in Singapore payment systems will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on OpenShift Container Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge on SWIFT architecture and its systems will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge in coding languages (preferrably Java), various operating systems and databases.
- Proven experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD adoption and deployment.
- Certifications in relevant skills (e.g. project management, business analysis, AWS solution architect etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Prior working experience in project management and vendor management.
- Relevant knowledge in change management and business process improvement would be advantageous.
- Organized, able to work independently, and adaptable to working on various projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
