[What the role is]
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore’s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS fosters a sound financial services sector through its prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore - banks, insurers, capital market intermediaries, financial advisors, and stock exchanges. It is also responsible for well-functioning financial markets, sound conduct, and investor education.

**[What you will be working on]**

You will be part of a dynamic team in the Technology and Cyber Risk Supervision Department (TCRD) that is responsible for strategic initiatives and projects to enhance the technological risk and resilience of the financial sector, by working closely with key partners including industry associations such as the Association of Banks in Singapore, government agencies, and international bodies.

With the increased digitalisation amongst financial institutions in recent years, you will play an active role in strategising TCRD’s approach to technology risk management by the FIs, providing pertinent guidance to the FIs, and driving key initiatives for a safe and secure financial sector.

You are expected to possess a keen interest in technology risk management and stay abreast of emerging trends, as well as possess strong project management, analytical and team collaboration skills. The fast-paced environment will require you to possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.

You will also work closely with colleagues in other MAS functions such as banking and payment supervision, engage with the industry, as well as support MAS’ participation in international fora.

- Existing experience in technology risk management, or a demonstrable motivation to learn about the sector
- Good writing and verbal communication skills as you will be expected to interface with various senior internal and external stakeholders directly
- Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
- Natural curiosity and energetic approach to problem-solving, with an ability to generate fresh perspectives in a fast-evolving spac
