RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervision of all Offshore or Conventional Fleet vessel accounts following established protocols.
2. Production of reports for managing Vessel Operational Expenditure (OPEX).
3. Compilation of payment groupings for suppliers across all entities and communication of remittance advice to them.
4. Creation and evaluation of monthly reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
5. Formulation of monthly bank reconciliations based on external bank statements.
6. Maintenance of accurate and updated records of accounts and financial documentation pertaining to vessels in the designated fleet.
7. Acting as the main point of contact, coordinating with the management team (or clients if necessary) for day-to-day accounting and reporting queries.
8. Ensuring the prompt preparation and review of accounting reports for clients, meeting established reporting deadlines.
9. Verification of payments linked to vessels, oversight of fund collection, and vigilance regarding vessel financial standing. Promptly notifying or alerting management as required.
10. Authentication and review of primary data, guaranteeing appropriate authorization and coding by pertinent departments without delay.
11. Collaborating with other departments to elucidate disparities in operating expenditures.
12. Assisting other departments in formulating budgets and forecasts, adhering to clients’ schedules and requirements.
13. Guaranteeing adherence to the Company’s payment prioritization policy through invoice posting, resolution of purchase invoice, and management of other creditor transactions within available funds.
14. Providing support to the Accounting team in executing supplementary necessary tasks.
15. Carrying out other intermittent responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director.

REQUISITES:

- Previous engagement in an offshore and marine operations-related enterprise.
- Possession of an acknowledged degree or professional certification in Accountancy or CPA.
- Ideally, a background of 3-5 years of similar experience within the ship management domain.
- Proficiency in analytical capabilities and the interpretation/analysis of financial statements.
- Proficient and effective communication proficiencies.
