We are looking for an AML & Trade Control Analyst (6 Month Contract) to join the Global Risk and Control Group based in Singapore.

The Global Risk and Control Group (GRC) is responsible for supporting the Global Transfer Agent to ensure compliance with regulations, and management of AML/CTF and operational risk, pertaining to transfer agent functions and internal policies, procedures and controls. This position will assist local leaders in Asia to actively identify, evaluate and mitigate AML/CTF risk and maintain an appropriate governance structure and culture across teams and branches. Daily tasks may include providing guidance in AML/CTF compliance, other regulatory requirements, audits, and managing enquiries and relationship with other business teams.

Subject to performance and business requirement, this contract may be convertible to a permanent position.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
Internal, External & Regulatory Reviews
Liaise with business partners to close out audit findings and control gaps in accordance with remedial plans Maintain current knowledge of new applicable laws, regulations and industry practice in relation to AML standards and regulatory framework

Primary Responsibilities
Support activities to maintain the Company AML/CTF program, which may include sanction screening, KYC review and ongoing due diligence Perform analysis of impact of any significant market development or change to AML/CTF regulations Support team to guide business partners to align procedures in line with regulatory requirement and company’s AML/CTF policy

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Familiar with key AML/CTF regulations and requirements Excellent data analysis skills and advance knowledge of excel is required Excellent written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills Good writing and communication skills Good interpersonal, influencing and networking skills Analytical, detail-oriented and able to identify potential issues and work towards solutions Ability to work in an independent manner
