About the Opportunity:
The Market Director, Broker Partnerships, SEA role is a high-performance business development position focused on opportunity generation through commercial Agency and Broker partnerships nationally to achieve regional sales goals.
The role is responsible for developing and executing an effective engagement strategy across an assigned book of business consisting of key Southeast Asia Agency and Broker partners, to build relationships and pipeline for the wider sales team. The individual will provide direction within each assigned account on how to best uncover and secure revenue opportunities through garnering a deep understanding of the Agency/Broker and their clients workplace needs.
This role will take a data driven approach to the prioritization of your target accounts whilst building a deep understanding of each account and how to uncover workspace opportunities. The insights uncovered through conversations out in the market will help WeWork shape the future of our product and GTM strategy, which is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in the evolution of flexible workspace and the WeWork offering. This is an opportunity to play an integral part in the sales team and strategy, to support WeWork’s continued growth and expansion.
In this role, you will:
- Be the key point of contact and face of WeWork for all Agency & Broker partners and stakeholders predominantly in Singapore but spread across Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, and Manila
- Understand WeWork’s product offering with the ability to articulate it for our Agency & Broker partners and their clients
- Develop and execute outreach strategies for a targeted book of business
- Arrange and conduct events, education sessions, presentations and meetings with key partners
- Continually support new building launches, by executing broker/agent pre-building strategy in a timely fashion
- Ensure that all potential leads are qualified and handed off to the appropriate WeWork Sales Lead
- Provide support for related sales promotions and marketing initiatives
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry
- Conduct weekly pipeline calls internally with the wider Sales team, reporting on trends as well as live and future opportunities
- Respond to and manage any requests/issues by our partners by collaborating internally with appropriate stakeholders
- Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management’s review as needed
- Consistently maintain a high level of partner and member satisfaction
- Partner with the Southeast Asia Growth team to achieve team goals
- Support with building tours where applicable
- Be a creative thinker who looks outside the box to find solutions to meet sales targets and revenue goals
About You

- 7+ years experience within Real Estate, with a history of outperforming targets and comfortable prospecting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative thinking with a solution focused approach
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High level of personal accountability, customer relationship, networking and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, collaborative and reliable; driven to achieve team and company goals
- A strong listener, capable of getting to the root of a Broker and their clients needs
- Enjoys working in a positive and collaborative team environment that is in line with WeWork’s company values
- Demonstrate a hustle attitude with a persistent but respectful approach
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal functions but also work independently, and take initiative when appropriate
- Strong executive communication skills
- Proficiency with SalesForce or a similar CRM, PowerPoint, Excel
