As we scale across countries and borders, the Habyt Operations Team is critical to providing our members with a seamless and joyful experience. As a vital member of our Hotel Operations Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the repairs, maintenance and fire safety tasks at Habyt Cantonment.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for the assigned property
- Ensure smooth running of the property's Mechanical and Electrical functions
- Provide technical support and trouble-shooting to property operation/technical issues
- Hands on for general repairs like carpentry, electrical services, lighting, painting, plumbing, and other general operational facilities
- Ensure all equipments are maintained and operated according to instruction
- Inspect the premises daily, perform building round checklist recording and replace defective parts
- Attend to all work orders issued by the team and management in a timely manner
- Coordinate and communicate engineering work activities with other team concerning identification of repair and maintenance problems and requirements
- Assist in incident reporting whenever required
- Follow-up pending works and ensure the guest satisfaction in work-in-progress, and the timeline to work completion
- Attend to emergency breakdown according to the roster
- Ensure compliance to building and fire safety rules and regulations together with the Security personnel
- Manage and coordinate with vendors for all servicing on-site, maintenance scheduling and getting quotations, raising POs, purchasing materials and contracting
- Adhere to the property protocol in all aspects and ensure the general safety and upkeep
- Update the stock quantity of the maintenance materials regularly
- Provide supervision and guidance to the junior Technician associate
- Constantly review & inspect completed works (preventive and work request) for any deficiencies that need to be followed up for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in fire-fighting and safety & fire evacuation exercises together with Security personnel
- Support the team when the property is on high house, or/and extra hands are requested - in general, be flexible
- Able to work on 5 days Rotating Shift (sometimes weekends and public holidays)

**The skills, attitude and experience we require are**:

- A minimum of 2 years working experience in a hotel or service apartment’s engineering / Facilities team
- Must be with hands-on experience in building or service related
- Resourceful, proactive and a team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, English required
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Strong problem-solving skills & detailed-oriented
- Basic computer knowledge to manage daily tasks, vendor liaising and maintenance schedules
- Able to work effectively and efficiently under the pressure, meeting guest satisfactory level
- Being flexible, agile and be able to adapt to quick changes
