**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Maintain Windows 10, server maintenance, and other related systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems.
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Create and verify backups of data, respond to and resolve help desk requests, upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
- Actively maintain and monitor network devices and Active Directory.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
- Looking for a minimum 6+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer/ Systems Consultant or related position.
- Proven experience with Windows 10, Installation, Troubleshooting, Network devices, Active directory, software deployment, and server maintenance.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or another language.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
