EVX Ventures is a global VC that builds, incubates, and invests in biotech and life science companies. We leverage our global networks to build cross-border ecosystems and support promising early-stage start-ups.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us as an Associate/Senior Associate. You will be joining a fast-paced environment and working with experienced professionals to identify investment opportunities across the life science and biotech industries.
**Responsibilities**:
- Source investment opportunities in life sciences (including life science tools) and biotechnology
- Perform competitive landscape reports and analyses
- Shortlist potential investment targets and prepare draft investment memorandums
- Assist in performing due diligence processes and interaction with various stakeholders
- Provide post-closing assistance, e.g. ad-hoc assignments to support portfolio companies, etc.
- Assist in the maintenance and refinement of methodologies utilized in the investment process
- Networking at industry events, trade associations and conferences
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in an investment/business development/consulting role, preferably in the life science/biopharma industries
- PhD in biological sciences or related field would be a strong plus
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Able to travel frequently when required
- Outgoing personality with good communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Chinese will be advantageous
