Assistant Buyer

Roles & Responsibilities
- To assist buyer in sourcing and procuring seafood from local suppliers.
- To schedule regular visits to customers to gather feedback and resolve outstanding issues.
- To monitor customer orders and allocation to achieve set sales and profitability targets.
- To negotiate with suppliers to conduct promotion activities for customers.
- To understand market supply conditions for seasonal produce for different source countries.
- To conduct price and quality comparison and compile report of supply market/competitors.
- To plan items for in-store offer, advertised offer and customized thematic offer for customers.
- To maintain professional sustaining business relationship with all suppliers.
- To conduct site inspection, investigation and report post investigations on quality issue feedbacks.
- Other tasks as and when assigned.

**Working Location**
- Jurong Fishery Port

**Working Days**
- Monday to Saturday (Midnight)

**Job Requirements**
- Able to work midnight shift from 11pm.
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Strong product and industry knowledge.
- Familiar with fresh products handling and storage management
- Good interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
