The Programme Executive is part of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS)'s Programmes division, which is responsible for the planning, development, execution and facilitation of programmes and events, designed to engage targeted audience groups (to enhance awareness and visitorship to Singapore Discovery Centre or part of outreach efforts).
**Responsibilities**:
- Conceptualise, design and develop events and programmes to build brand awareness for target audience groups (School / SAF / Corporate) to generate and sustain interest in SDC’s offerings, our Singapore Story and National Education messaging;
- Work in close collaboration with the Sales team to develop events/programmes that meets both customers’ requirements and SDC’s intended outreach objectives;
- In charge of the running and facilitation of the events and programmes to ensure the delivery of quality and memorable experiences for participants;
- Handle event enquiries, requests and/or correspondences, providing appropriate responses and escalate to relevant parties and/or management where necessary;
- Prepare pre-event and post-event logistics;
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including delivery reports, surveys, visitorship analysis and review action plans;
- Provide support to other Programmes teams and/or departments in the SDC for key/larger scale events/programmes; and
- Carry out ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned.
**Challenges**:
- Needs to be able to effectively interact with colleagues within the division and other departments, such as Sales and EMP, as well as relevant external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of programmes and events.
- Needs to be able to ensure sufficient time is buffered for implementation plans, while managing internal/external stakeholders’ operational considerations.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or Diploma in any field;
- Students who just completed their studies may be considered, but with 1 to 2 years’ experience in organising and delivering programmes (sports, leadership, arts, etc.) or events will be advantageous;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills;
- Organised, able to multi-task and handle tight deadlines;
- Good team player who is motivated and able to work independently;
- Have a strong command of both written and spoken English;
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) optional but would be an asset.
