Ot Integration Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze business requirements for OT systems in smart city projects
- Translate complex operational needs into clear OT system specifications
- Develop use cases and process flows for OT integration projects
- Conduct gap analysis between current OT systems and desired future states
- Collaborate with the OT Systems Integration Architect to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and document OT requirements
- Create and maintain documentation for OT systems and processes
- Assist in the development of ROI models and business cases for OT integration projects

Secondary Responsibilities (Project Delivery Support):

- Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders during implementation
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Assist in change management processes, helping stakeholders adapt to new OT systems
- Support user acceptance testing and training initiatives
- Conduct post-implementation business impact assessments
- Contribute to the development of operational handover documentation
- Assist in the resolution of business-related issues during project delivery

Additional Responsibilities in the Built Environment Context:
Product Development and Planning
- Assist in the creation of product artifacts for software solutions related to building information modeling, project management platforms, and smart building systems
- Support the team in developing and maintaining documentation for various technology projects in the built environment sector
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new features that address challenges in urban development and construction

Project Coordination
- Help coordinate activities across multiple teams working on digital solutions for construction, facility management, and urban planning
- Assist in organizing and documenting team meetings and project updates related to built environment software development
- Support the tracking and reporting of program activities in the context of smart city and sustainable building initiatives

Industry Event Management
- Assist in planning and executing various events related to innovation in the built environment, such as hackathons or technology showcases
- Help with logistics and coordination of program-related activities, including demonstrations of new technologies for smart buildings and cities

Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholders in the industry, including architects, engineers, contractors, and city planners
- Support the team in maintaining relationships with customers and partners in the built environment sector
- Help create marketing materials to drive awareness of products and programs related to smart buildings and urban technologies

Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research on emerging technologies in the built environment sector
- Assist in analyzing data from construction projects or smart building systems to derive insights for product improvements
- Support the team in identifying industry trends and potential partnership opportunities within the built environment ecosystem

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in OT or industrial environments within the built environment sector
- Familiarity with business process modeling techniques and tools
- Experience with requirements gathering and management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex OT concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus
- Knowledge of the built environment industry, including construction, facility management, and urban planning
