**Job Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication and maintaining inventory level of drugs as well as in supervising the Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants. You will also assist the pharmacist to ensure smooth daily operations of the pharmacy.

**Job Responsibilities
Operational
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place and carried out for all dispensary and distribution processes.
- Conduct regular internal audit and on-site inspection.
- Accurately pack and dispense all prescriptions according to set standards and guidelines.
- Supervise the pharmacy technicians and ensure that they dispense medicines according to set standards and guidelines.
- Investigate and handle dispensing errors promptly.
- Promptly report all dispensing errors, verifications and outcome, if any, to the pharmacist-in-charge.
- Assist the pharmacist-in-charge to ensure that the practices at the branch adhere to the Pharmacy regulations and medication safety guidelines.
- Manage the dispensing activities at branch to meet the stipulated key performance indicators.
- Set an excellent example in the provision of quality service.
- Ensure that the team provides professional and courteous service to all patients/customers.
- Motivate team members to cultivate the highest standards of customer service.
- Adopt patient-centric practices so as to meet/exceed patients’ needs/expectations.
- Handle & respond to patient’s feedback and complaints promptly.
- Promptly report all patient’s feedback and complaints, with verification and outcome, if any, to the pharmacist in-charge.
- Implement changes as appropriate.

Administration & Housekeeping
- Maintain proper records of pharmacy statistics generated during routine processing are captured accurately.
- Assist the pharmacists in compilation of information and collation of data as required.
- Ensure timely submission of reports as required.
- Ensure proper filing and housekeeping of documents in pharmacy in accordance to guidelines.
- Ensure that proper housekeeping is maintained in pharmacy premises.
- Monitor and follow-up on facilities and equipment maintenance/servicing.

Staff Training & Development
- Assist the pharmacist to coach an orientate new pharmacy technicians/assistants/ attendants.
- Ensure that all relevant training programs are carried out appropriately and in a timely manner.

Security
- Maintain the security of stocks, premises and stored information at all times.
- Create awareness to ensure staff are always alert to security concerns.
- Take action to prevent security incidents.

General
- Involve in work place quality improvement projects/ activities as and when required.
- Screen / triage telephone calls to the pharmacy and handle telephone enquiries whenever possible.
- Assist pharmacists in organising and coordination of various workgroup teams and

Activities.
- Participate in departmental and institutional events or activities.

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or WSQ Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support) Advanced Certificate or Foreign Pharmacy degree (non-registrable with SPC) with 7-9 years of Pharmacy experience
- Related Certification course in extended role areas or related diploma/degree
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated team player
- Good supervisory, communication and management skills
- Must not be color blind
