**Position Summary**
As the Commercial Director, APAC at Flash Coffee, a tech-enabled coffee retail business, you will be responsible for leading and driving the commercial strategy, growth, and revenue generation for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will play a pivotal role in expanding Flash Coffee's market presence, leveraging technology solutions, building strong relationships with partners, and optimizing business performance across the region. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the APAC market, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving business success in the technology-driven coffee retail industry.
**What you'll do**:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Flash Coffee in the APAC region, aligning with the company's overall objectives and goals in the tech-enabled coffee retail space.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, leveraging technology solutions, developing new business models, and expanding market share.
- Lead the commercial team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including landlords, suppliers, technology vendors, and other relevant stakeholders, to drive mutually beneficial collaborations and partnerships in the tech-enabled coffee retail industry.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements, pricing strategies, and market positioning within the technology-driven coffee retail landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as technology, operations, marketing, and finance, to develop and execute integrated strategies and initiatives that drive business growth, operational excellence, and technological innovation.
- Manage and optimize the commercial budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, cost control, and strategic investments in technology solutions.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the commercial team, fostering creativity, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset in the tech-enabled coffee retail business.
- Analyze sales performance data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive team, with a focus on leveraging technology for business optimization.
- Represent Flash Coffee at industry events, conferences, and networking forums specific to the tech-enabled coffee retail industry to enhance brand visibility, build relationships, and identify business opportunities in the digital landscape.
**Who you are**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in commercial leadership roles within the retail industry, preferably in tech-enabled businesses or the coffee industry.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets in a technology-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of the APAC market, including market dynamics, customer preferences, and technological trends in the retail and coffee industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, leverage technology solutions, develop innovative business models, and drive operational excellence in the tech-enabled coffee retail sector.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience in managing partnerships, key accounts, and technology vendors in a retail setting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data, market insights, and technology for informed decision-making and business optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders in the tech-enabled coffee retail industry.
- Results-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong focus on technology-driven solutions.
