Implement the quality assurance plan, mainly on incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections.
- Ensure all work are correctly prepared prior to any inspection (eg. FAT) being undertaken.
- Conversant with international codes and standards, including ISO standards.
- Identify non-conformance to drawings, code and / or project specifications.
- Work with production / design engineer and or welding supervisor/foreman to identify project problems and implement solutions.
- To organise and conduct interbal/external quality audit
- Coordinate with customers' quality personnel / TPI for resolution of issues or problems encountered.
- Prepare non-conformance report and assist in developing corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure that all welders certificates are up to date prior commences on projects.
- To update the welding inspection equipment, calibration status & certificates/registers on a regular basis.
- To attend and resolve all QA related matters
- Any other job concerning QAQC department assigned from the Senior Management/ General Managers.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Diploma/ Degree in Quality Assurance and PCN 3.1 or 3.2 certified welding inspector / AWS CWI.
- Field of study: Quality assurance by recognised bodies
- Minimum 10 years of new build project related experience in Quality Assurance and PCN standards
- Strong working experience in Oil & Gas Sector
- Proficient in English (speaking & writing) and computer skills
- Shipyard Safety Supervisor certificate
