We are looking for a Landscaping Assistant Manager to join our team
**Job Summary**:
The incumbent will assist in the planning, design, and maintenance of landscapes of the hotel, apartments, residences and public spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape design principles, and project management skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:1. Landscape Maintenance**:
Assist in the daily maintenance of landscapes, including pruning, planting, and irrigation system management.
Ensure all landscapes are well-manicured and meet quality standards.
**2. Project Management**:
Assist in the planning and execution of landscape projects, including design, installation, and maintenance.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
**3. Horticulture Expertise**:
Provide horticultural expertise and recommendations on plant selection, soil management, and pest control.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in landscape management.
**4. Team Management**:
Supervise and train landscape maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Foster a positive and productive team environment.
**5. Communication**:
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and other documentation as required.

**Requirements**:
**Education**: Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
**Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in landscape management or a related field.
**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape design principles.
- Project management and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Certifications**: Relevant certifications, such as ISA Certified Arborist, Certified practicing horticulturist or Certified Park Manager, are an advantage.

**Work Environment**: Office and outdoor settings, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
**Physical Demands**: Ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy objects, and work in physically demanding conditions.
