**Role Description**: Demonstrates full knowledge in assigned area and is a first level manager. Participates in the development and leads the implementation of Human Resources (HR) strategy. Provides leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resources functions including all aspects of Organizational Design, Performance Management, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and Diversity & Inclusion.
- Accountable for the performance and results of a team through direct management; Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion
- Partners with Senior Management on the development of long term department goals and initiatives
- Defines team operating standards and processes and leads continuous improvement efforts
- Delivers HR initiatives, programs, and processes to the business client group(s) including performance management, total rewards and headcount planning, talent review and succession management processes
- Consults and influences a business client group in the design and delivery of HR solutions on a broad spectrum of HR matters, including associate relations, total rewards, and recruiting in partnership with specialist areas of HR
- Engages with business client group(s) in workforce planning to identify both long term and temporary staffing solutions and sourcing strategy based on organizational goals and objectives
- Provides thought leadership, education, and tools to senior managers and associates and effectively manages organizational change and transition
- Coaches and guides managers in hiring and developing high performing teams, building talent bench, and driving associate engagement. Facilitates talent and performance management programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business objectives
- Leads the annual common review cycle by developing communication plans and timelines, rolling out significant changes to compensation programs or processes, leading calibration discussions, providing trend analysis and recommendations
- Resolves complex and/or ambiguous associate relations situations and terminations; identifies appropriate approach, conducts rigorous analysis and provides options for resolving issues and recommends solutions
- Conducts HR trend analysis and uses data and analytics to identify and recommend solutions to business problems
- Enhances organizational learning and development by facilitating training programs and group discussions on various topics, such as leadership development, change management, and performance management
- Participates in significant organizational development projects, programs and business initiatives, such as change management, business transformation and restructuring, using demonstrated thought leadership
- Develops thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development and retention
- Works with leaders and associates to establish and maintain an inclusive work environment that encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; acts as an associate advocate
