- Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across multiple entities and regions.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Manage intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and equity accounting.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Analyse consolidated business performance, identify trends and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors on consolidation-related matters.
- Drive continuous improvement in consolidation processes and reporting efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
- Lead or support finance transformation initiatives related to consolidation and other statutory reporting.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes across selected business units.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A, capital investments, and cost optimisation.

**Skills for Success**
- Degree in Accounting or its equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant work experience. External audit experience and at least 2 years of working experience in financial consolidation and reporting in a MNC environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/ Japanese GAAP and consolidation principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Stakeholder management capabilities.
