We also bring many of our products to millions of professionals outside Meta by making these available on the Workplace enterprise collaboration platform. Enterprise Engineers build industry leading, highly intuitive software that underpin business functions across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce and Security. Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work. We are looking for someone that has strong experience building complex transactional systems with high availability, data integrity, and reliability.

**Enterprise Engineer Responsibilities**:

- Play a critical role setting goals for team - in terms of project impact, product quality, and engineering efficiency
- Solve complex technical problems and execute major initiatives successfully across multiple products
- Play a critical role in setting technical direction for the team, have a broad influence across teams
- Architect & build industry leading enterprise systems that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secure
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance and alignment with standards and best practices, role model for other engineers
- Identify, analyze and drive improvement in efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems & products
- Be able to explain technical problems with data and analysis and provide detailed feedback and solutions
- End to End ownership of features / products / domain
- Onboard & mentor other engineers in the team/org

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience building intuitive systems in technologies like Java, PHP/Hack, C#, C++, etc. and/or Javascript technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS
- 8+ years experience working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs or GraphQL APIs
- 8+ years experience with database & modeling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and upstream/downstream integrations
- 8+ years experience building secure software with access controls and permissions

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with cross functional partners like Product Managers, Product Designers, UXR, Data Scientists, etc to deliver ambiguous and large scope projects with high quality
- Experience owning projects from end-to-end and responsible for product quality & stability
