**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**
- Accounts Receivable - Responsible for the revenue and receivable function, ensure timely and accurate reporting of revenue and compliance with Government IMs. - Oversee revenue estimate process and revenue variance explanations. - Perform and oversee the revenue and bank reconciliation process - Work with user departments in recovery of outstanding debts from customers - Work with IT vendor to resolve any system-related issues pertaining to collections Accounts Payable - Responsible for the payments and refunds function, to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and refunds to customers - Oversee the processing and disbursement of staff claims - Ensure the payment process and accounting of payments are in accordance/compliance with the Government IMs or WOG best practices.. - Conduct analytics on payments, refunds and claims to identify anomalies for further investigation/follow-up - Responsible for the quarterly GST reporting submission to IRAS - Manage the cashflow requirements of the organisation - Work with IT vendor to resolve any system-related issues pertaining to payments Others - Represent Finance Department in related working committees - Review and implement process-streamlining to drive team/organisational efficiency and effectiveness - Other ad-hoc projects

**What we are looking for**
- 6 to 10 years of working experience - Familiar with accounting standards and IFRS requirements - Well-versed in finance operations, processes and internal controls, particularly in the area of collections and refunds - IT-savvy with good knowledge of systems - Exposure to agile methodology (e.g. scrum) - Possesses prior experience in working with RPA programs (e.g. UIPath) and writing RPA scripts will be an advantage - Innovative, resourceful and a problem-solver. Able to examine issues from various perspectives and recommend the most effective solution - Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization. - Self-starter with high levels of initiative; able to work well under pressure and tight timelines - Well versed in leading teams and harnessing the individual abilities to achieve the assigned objectives
