**JOB SUMMARY**

To protect lives, deter the possible loss of guest and employees’ property or hotel assets as well as enforce the hotel’s rules and regulations.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To handle the daily security operations of the hotel.
- Before every shift, be updated and familiarized with the prior and ongoing activities of the day. Obtain the latest instructions and brief the officers of all activities and any other information pertaining to the hotel or department.
- Plan and co-ordinate the deployment of the officers according to the roster and supervise them.
- Enforce the hotel’s Rules and Regulations and ensure discipline amongst them.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the security checkpoint.
- Conduct checks on all record books, files, security passes, identification documents, work permits, key presses and other equipment at the security checkpoint.
- To conduct checks on all employees, part-timers, contractors, visitors and their possessions upon leaving the hotel’s premises.
- Log detailed reports regarding incidents of theft, loss, injury, destruction of property and other matters affecting the hotel.
- Take immediate action for the recovery of any item reported loss or follow-ups to any incidents reported.
- Identify trespassers, undesirable characters, catamites or prostitutes who solicit for clients and upon conformation of trespassing, issue Persona-non-Grata (PNG).
- To provide security coverage for VIP guests and tour groups, checking in/out of the hotel.
- Assist to control the traffic flow at the Fore Court and its vicinity to prevent congestion.
- Conduct patrol on the hotel’s premises to ensure:

- All guestrooms are locked.
- All offices are locked after office hours.
- tems and equipments are properly stored and is not a safety hazard.
- Identification of potential breach in security or fire hazards.

14. Inform the Manager on Duty (MOD) of all incidents concerning the hotel.

15. Ensure that all Lost & Found items are recorded in the logbook and handed to the Lost & Found Department for safekeeping. Inform the MOD of the find.

16. Assist guests and employees who require medical attention, render first-aid if needed.

17. Be familiar with the Fire Emergency Plan & Procedures and take the necessary actions should there be activation.

18. Witness the opening of the drop-safe at the general cashier’s office.

19. To conduct investigation of all incidents and accidents reported.

20. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum in Nitec of Security management
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in handling Security
- A valid Security Officer license
- Responsible & attention to details
- Hospitable & service oriented
- A great team player
- Able to start work anytime or within short notice period
