**Fab 10 Facilities Engineer - UPW / WWTP (UltraPure Water / Waste Water Treatment Plant)**

**_Description
- **

The Facilities UPW/WW Engineer provides engineering support to oversee, plan and ensure proper operations and maintenance of the Ultra Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater (WW). systems He/She is expected to troubleshoot and respond to issues and interruptions of the systems.

Handle and execute Ultra Pure Water and waste water treatment systems engineering projects including upgrades, retrofits, expansion and maintenance.

Capacity tracking and planning on UPW and WW and other water treatment related systems.

**_Job Responsibilities
- **
- Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance (PM/CM) activities for systems including in-house PM/CM as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Risk Assessment (RA) and Pre-Task Plan (PTP).
- Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment
- Troubleshoot and timely respond to out of spec conditions and interruptions of the plant and systems.
- Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions to support UPW, WWTP including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for UPW, WW and water recycling systems and carry out system capacity study to meet Manufacturing requirement.
- Work and support on Corporate driven projects.
- Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations.
- To complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.
- Detailed understanding of UPW, Waste Water and Water Recycling systems and its associated equipment working principles.
- Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems.
- Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible.
- Understand system schematic drawings and update modifications time with records.
- Propose and evaluate cost of basic CM activities
- Carry out cost estimates and analysis of proposed projects.
- Identify/implement new technologies for UPW and Waste Water system to achieve technology breakthrough.
- Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, and costing.

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental and Mechanical engineering, equivalent or related discipline.
