**Responsibilities**
- Management of Department Operation_
- Overall responsible for ensuring that the functions of MRO’s core processes are met operationally and service quality objectives are met.
- Plan, organize and manage the daily activities and workload for assigned working units to meet the standards set by the Hospital and regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for correcting service problems promptly to deliver safe, seamless, efficient services to all service areas through constant tracking of key performance indicators.
- Process Management_
- Assist the Manager to implement initiatives that can improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Upkeep and maintain MRO’s procedures and work instructions and ensure that the work processes clearly documented and consistently adhered to.
- Constantly seeking ways and continual review of processes to surpass customer’s expectations and add value to customers by working closely with department manager.
- Quality Management_
- Review department’s Key performance indicators and implement department action plan.
- Constantly review workflows, systems and procedures to detect areas for improvements to meet department’s KPI.
- Ensure company’s missions, values and policies as well as department action plans are effectively conveyed to staff and carried out.
- Address any inefficiencies that are not in the interests of Medical Records Office and Customer by suggesting ways for improvement.
- Ensure documented procedures and standards are updated to ensure relevancy and quality.
- People Management_
- Manage and motivate staff to ensure successful implementation of plans and achievement of targets.
- Provide clear goals and directions for the assigned working units within MRO.
- Participate in hospital events & projects. Motivate and encourage staff to do the same.
- Build strong rapport and lead each working units for participation.
- Guide, orientate and manage staff behaviors that benefit department as a whole.
- Set performance targets and provide feedback to staff on their performance regularly.
- Others_
- Prepare and submit monthly workload and performance report for Medical Records Office
- Assist in putting up approval paper for equipment/renovation/purchase requisition etc.
- Active participation in within/cross department process improvement projects to create value to the customer/patient.
- Any other tasks assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in any discipline, preferably in Health Information Management
- Preferably 4 years working experience, preferably in healthcare operations, logistics, process improvement and staff supervision.
- Experience in hospital operations and managing large teams will be advantageous. Must be service oriented and customer focused.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with staff from all levels.
- Good communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
- Must be possess a high level of adaptability and positive work attitude.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
