**Responsibilities**:

- The Senior Engineer handles medium, large, and complex projects.
- The Structural Engineer will work within a team of engineers and provide engineering support to any of ABL’s business lines in the region, and will be responsible for planning, verifying and execution of projects as assigned.
- The key area of focus will be to support energy services, including Oil & Gas and Renewable projects and technical engineering review.
- He/She works closely within a team of engineers and is responsible for the planning, verifying and execution of projects.
- He/she may be assigned and review work of other team members.
- He/she will be responsible for discipline technical and scheduling matters pertaining to the assigned project.
- Plan & execute engineering work scope including Structural engineering reviews, preparing design analyses, concept, and detail, conduct calculations for design and plan appraisal purpose for marine warranty services.
- Oversee engineering progress and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Supervise (prepare) engineering design calculations and analysis for designs of various Structural elements pertaining to the project in accordance with international codes and standards.
- Undertake and guide assigned engineers and drafting personnel to complete projects as per planned schedule, within budget in accordance with quality and HSE standards.
- Undertake, guide, and perform concept and detailed design analysis of various Oil & Gas / Renewable projects.
- Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required.
- Maintain responsibility for engineering integrity, prepare working forecasts, identify change management plans, and corrective action as well as real time schedules.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables are carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures.
- Participate in design reviews, audits and engineering related reviews. Evaluate and prepare concept selection reports and basis for design.
- Assist with preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs. Developing new business including initiating and winning proposals
- Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training, mentoring and motivation to subordinates and provide training to personnel new to engineering related analyses and design.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree qualification in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years professional experience and relevant expertise with offshore fixed and mobile structures and/or offshore renewables projects.
- Accustomed to working in a team in the execution of projects to a high standard on time and on budget.
- Strong people and project management skills.
- Able to build strong commercial relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of offshore/structural engineering analysis and design computer programs.
- Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Results orientated and client focused
- Proactive and ability to show initiative in problem solving.
- Influential with business and people acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility towards working hours
