**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive **Network Security Engineer**with a strong background in **network infrastructure, cybersecurity**, and hands-on expertise in **Palo Alto firewalls**. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network security systems, ensuring robust protection of enterprise systems and data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, configure, and maintain network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, proxies, and NAC.
- Administer and manage **Palo Alto Networks firewalls**, including policy creation, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new systems and networks.
- Manage and optimize LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud network security.
- Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, standards, and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-7 years of experience in network security or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with **Palo Alto Networks firewalls**(Pan-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect).
- In-depth knowledge of **TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF**, etc.
- Experience with security technologies such as **IPS/IDS, NAC, DLP, SIEM, endpoint protection**.
- Familiarity with **cloud security**(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as **PCNSE, CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP**are a plus.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Exposure to other firewall technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA).
- Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes.

- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and security best practices.
