You are responsible to minimise injury risk and enhance soldier performance. On this, you develop and implement effective movement techniques to prevent anterior cruciate ligament injuries and musculoskeletal injuries among military personnel. Your challenge lies in being able to have a deep understanding of the relationship between knowledge, attitudes and behaviour to effectively engage with the Army units to promote optional physical performance and reduce the risk of injuries among soldiers. You must also be able to manage the complexities of working with multiple organisations and stakeholders, balancing diverse demands to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

You must have a tertiary qualification in Sport Science, kinesiology, or a related field. Post-graduate specialisation and a current relevant professional certification credentialed by an independent accreditation agency, e.g. Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) is preferred. You must have at least 3 years work-experience in a related field or experience in developing and delivering training program in military or high-performance setting. Having experience working in a multidisciplinary team and teaching experiences is advantageous. Possess good understanding and knowledge of research design and methodology, biostatistics and bioethical issues is essential. You must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision and operate as both a leader and team player.
