**Job description**:
We are looking for a **Principal Engineer** who will be responsible for high impact projects.

**As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include**:

- Knowledge of multiple front end frameworks and technologies such as React js, Angular etc
- Focus on setting the architectural standards and guidelines for front end services in the platform
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to inform intelligent API development
- Lead collaborations with Design, Product, QA, Engineering and DevOps teams to bring user interfaces to market quickly and reliably
- Lead and expand the front-end engineering team's code culture and practice, including documentation, testing, architecture and layout
- Lead pair programming sessions and provide mentorship to other team members
- Participate with Product dept in planning out the work on your team
- Help identify and define new front-end roles and interview and assess applicants

**Requirements**:

- Degree / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Hands-on experience and passion with track record of handling various deliveries, o relevant Engineering Technical Leadership experience
- Strong design and architectural experience in building various highly-scalable and highly-available web apps (millions of consumers)
- Strong understanding of the SDLC Activities which include Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support etc.
- Strong people management skills to lead and build a high-performing team
- Expert proficiency in modern Javascript, React, Redux, HTML and CSS
- Expert understanding of browser based technologies and security practices
- Proven knowledge of architecting single-page apps in a modern SPA framework and libraries such React, Angular, Redux including integration of API calls, websockets, and animations
- Familiarity with styled components and/or custom component library development
- Familiarity with UX principles for creating delightful Customer Experiences
- Proficient with TDD/BDD and UI Automation testing
- Comfortable in a startup environment - we're fast-paced, self-motivated, and determined to change the industry
- Experience in Product Management and collaborating with Product teams and Managers
- Experience in product-based / hyper-growth environment highly advantageous
- Experience in MicroServices / Micro Frontend based development
- Hands on experience with SQL/No SQL databases
- Hands on experience in Spring Boot, Node Js or Golang would be a plus
- Working knowledge in Config driven UI development would be an advantage
