**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **
- Design and develop hydraulic and electrical driven deck machinery (Windlass, winches and etc)
- Responsible for the general arrangement and structural design including structural analysis using calculation and FEA software
- Review and integrate vendor’s equipment and hydraulic and electrical components
- Coordinate all phases of assigned area deck machinery engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, equipment commissioning, and project closure
- Preparations for equipment and components specification for vendor sourcing
- Coordinate with other internal stack holders, vendors, and clients
- Work closely with the marine certification societies and responsible for class submission and approval
- Lead and participate in process improvements
- Occasionally required to work outside Singapore to attend meetings, site visiting, FAT and commissioning
- Any other job assigned

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- **
- A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering (Preferably with structural analysis knowledge)
- Experienced engineers with minimum 5 years working experience in related field (Compulsory)
- Experience with designing software such as Autocad, Solid-work and Ansys (Compulsory)
- Knowledge of industry standards such ISO code, API, ANSI, ASME and other well recognized guides
- Familiar with rules and regulations of marine classification societies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication, independent and self-driven
