We are looking for a talented, self-driven and motivated engineer to be part of the Xilinx Characterization team. This individual will be primarily responsible for interfacing with silicon, firmware, and platform design groups to develop and execute validation test plans for FPGA during emulation and post-silicon bring-up / validation, to debug SoC feature issues, and to run and maintain validation infrastructure. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Design and develop functional tests for measuring performance of PCS Block of Transceiver - Design and develop functional tests for measuring performance of RFDC DAC/ADC Digital Block - Development of RTL test designs and firmware to validate transceivers - Development of performance analysis tools, including data processing, results/metrics analysis and management - Debug and drive root-cause analysis for Silicon related issues - Implement testing across process, voltage and temperature, analyze test results to discover trends and outliers - Work closely with cross functional team to Investigate and find solutions to various issues - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Electronics / Computer Science - 4+ years of experience in Transceivers, or RFDC testing using Verilog, or VHDL, with good knowledge of FPGA internals - Embedded software and device driver experience using Linux on FPGAs or SoCs - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl/Perl/Phython/C/C++ - Good understanding of statistical analysis - Understanding of Protocol such as PCIe, Ethernet is a plus. - A team player with strong written and verbal skills
