Our Transportation business in Singapore would like to welcome a Senior Tunnel Engineer with the following responsibilities: - Lead in the preparation of design documents but not limited to detailed design reports, calculations, drawings, and construction sequence. Involves in tunnel design in hard and soft rock conditions and possess in-depth knowledge of NATM & TBM excavation techniques and trenchless construction across railway infrastructure projects including station, bored tunnels, and mined tunnel - Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries - Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/ local authorities - Design and documentation delivery processes of the business in Singapore and throughout the Asian Region - Participate in project tendering - Professional representation of the company during the course of business - Proactively taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Degree in Civil/ Structural or Geotechnical Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board - A minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of tunneling (including shotcrete, launch and retrieval shafts, and cross-passages) in multi-disciplinary underground railway infrastructure including stations, bored tunnels, and mined tunnels. Singapore's local experience is essential. - Experience in tunnel construction in hard and soft rock conditions and possessing in-depth knowledge of NATM & TBM excavation techniques and trenchless construction. - Adaptability to acquire new skills in tunneling design with automated design tools using Civil3D and Dynamo (training will be provided) - Familiar with Authorities’ submission requirements - Conversant with Local and International Design Codes and Standards such as Euro Codes, British and American Codes for Civil Structural design **Jacobs.
