Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

We are presently seeking a **Product Engineer (Assembly).**

Main responsibilities:

- Assigned product ownership for management of RFQ with S&M & OPS towards customer requirements.
- Ensure timely closure of RFQ with tracking via TAT reporting.
- Ensure & Drive FAT, FLP & FAI execution to meet all requirements with customer.
- Assigned product ownership of BOM & Routing setup, ensure accuracy and TAT is met.
- Drive assigned product performance improvements through yield improvement, scrap reduction, OTD & PPM.
- To provide and manage assigned product concession(s) & product compliance with S&M and customer.
- Ownership of assigned product related packaging, raw material, tooling & fixtures management.
- Key interface to customer for product related matters.
- Identify & lead Continuous Improvement Projects on assigned product such as costs, cycle time reduction & consumables spent reduction using Six Sigma and LEAN tools (eg SPC, PFMEA, PCP, RCA, etc).
- To participate in weekly FAT, Yield, Scrap & OTD status review with stakeholders to ensure goals are met.

**Requirements**:

- Degree Holder in Mechatronics. Diploma holders can be considered if individual has an extensive portfolio of the achievements
- At least 4 years’ experience in Optics / Opto-mechanical/ Opto-electronics systems.
- Experience across all phases of a product from Design to prototype to mass production to end-of-life.
- Well-verse in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Familiar with Optics design software’s (Zemax/Other).
- Knowledge in Six sigma and lean principles.
- Some Project Management Skills.
- Hands on experience in Optical test and metrology systems.
- Possess good communication, both oral and written.
