Assistant Credit Risk Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
An MNC in the commodities industry with global presence and network is currently looking for a Credit Risk Manager to join their team.
The Credit Risk Manager will generate regular reports, maintain strong relationships with business divisions, and advise on transaction structuring using risk mitigation tools to optimize outcomes. They will monitor market developments, manage key stakeholder relationships, and oversee credit policies to align with company standards. Responsibilities include negotiating insurance terms, managing insured limits, and ensuring compliance with credit policies across systems like CTRM and SAP.
The role also involves supporting the GM by enhancing credit risk processes, proposing improvements, and harmonizing policies globally. They will collaborate with departments such as Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to address credit risk matters, while sharing best practices and supporting system upgrades, including credit-related CTRM inputs and testing.
This role focuses on effective communication, operational enhancements, and ensuring robust credit risk management practices across the organization.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- About10 years of experience in Credit Risk
- Experience with commodity trading industry will be good
- Previous experience in leading a team will be good
- Knowledge in Credit Risk Management policies and requirements on Business Operations in commodity trading business (LC, BC, mark-to-market, VaR, STC, etc.)
- Experience with AML and KYC
- Knowledge in Credit Risk Compliance Issues, and Credit Rating Model, ISDA/CSA, derivative instruments
