**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** |**About the role**

The Regional Business Development Manager (Regional BDM) is responsible for driving impactful business development activities for a selection of Vendors and / or Partners. These business development activities will be strategic in nature with visibility at regional and global level.

This role will report Regional Business Manager SEAHK.

**As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will be involved in**:

- Tech Refresh - Design, communicate and deliver business outcomes on Tech refresh programs for our vendors
- GSIs - Lead strategic engagement with a selection of GSIs with a focus on amplifying and driving adoption of our regional programs
- Hyperscalers - Increase sales transacted via marketplace (AWS, GCP, Azure) by engaging hyperscalers, vendors, partners and internal stakeholders
- Vendor Program - Support the Regional Business Manager to accelerate execution and outcomes of Vendor-specific programs
- Vendor Expansion Actively support business development efforts to expand geographical footprint with existing vendors or signing new vendors

Internally, the Regional BDM will be responsible for socializing and securing buy-in from Local Management (Country Manager, Sales Director) and work effectively with working level local teams to deliver outcomes.

you will also be involved in:

- Responsible for designing, communicating and driving execution of strategic business development activities
- Work with key internal functions (Technical, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Compliance, etc..) to ensure our business development programs are well designed and ready to be marketed / rolled out.
- Target and engage external stakeholders (Vendors, channel ecosystem) to position our programs and translate them into a sales motion
- Activate and work alongside our local teams to ensure our sales motion delivers the expected results
- Monitor outcomes and pro-actively refine approach as required
- Report back results of strategic initiatives to the Regional and Global leadership team

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** |**About you**

**The ideal Regional Business Development Manager**:

- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years of experience in IT strong understanding of Vendor and Channel ecosystem dynamics
- Excellent and pro-active communicator
- Superior relationship-building skills both with internal and external parties
- Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams and with parties in various geographies & culture
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and managing it well.
- Self-starter, demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative in owning, dealing with and resolving problems on a logical basis.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
