**About the role**

**What you'll be doing**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address complex business requirements
- Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Participate in the planning and implementation of database migrations, upgrades, and backups
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our database architecture and development processes

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Database Developer
- Proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimisation techniques
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
