**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Centre Specialist to join our team in Singapore. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining our client's data centre infrastructure and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. **Key Responsibilities**

Infrastructure Management
- Provide hands-on support within the data centre, including power cycling and replacement of hot-swappable components.
- Handle patching, racking, stacking, and installation of physical equipment following internal IMAC and best-practice standards.
- Maintain physical cabling (copper and fibre), create rack elevation diagrams and patching schematics using Excel and Visio.
- Monitor hardware health and environmental conditions (power, cooling) and ensure compliance with physical provisioning standards.

ServiceNow Administration
- Create and manage changes, tasks (CTASK), status updates, and closure of change tickets.
- Monitor and respond proactively to incidents, alerts, and service requests.

Project Support & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support ongoing technical projects and infrastructure changes.
- Offer guidance on physical and logical network connectivity requirements.

Operational Excellence
- Maintain detailed records of equipment deliveries and storage; update ticketing systems accordingly.
- Conduct daily housekeeping and compliance checks, tracking issues until resolution.
- Manage datacentre access control, including raising access request tickets for approval.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an enterprise-level, in-house or colocation data centre environment.
- Proficiency in hardware maintenance, including component replacement and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Familiarity with technical infrastructure planning - power, cooling, network layouts.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proficiency in Visio for network diagrams and infrastructure schematics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Computer networking: 3 years (preferred)
- Network infrastructure: 3 years (preferred)
- Data center: 2 years (required)
- Computer hardware: 3 years (preferred)
