Senior Event Technician

Be the technical maestro, ensuring seamless execution from setup to post-production. **WHAT YOU'LL DO**: - Manage AV-related resourcing and scheduling, lead the team on day-to-day operations. - Triage of events. - Manage operational, event and incident escalations in a timely manner and report promptly to Bloomberg. - Provide technical advice on equipment and highlight operational needs. - Have a clear understanding of stakeholders and their requirements. - Have a clear understanding of business needs in a corporate environment. - Provide best-in-class customer services to Bloomberg's internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure stakeholder management is handled in a professional manner. - Early highlight to Bloomberg as a Stakeholder of any upcoming high priority events. - Provide support to internal and external events in Bloomberg offices, including but not limited to contents displaying on video wall, video and audio signals routing and mixing, recording and live streaming via Bloomberg LIVE GO function. - Provide daily technical check and day-to-day troubleshooting for AV equipment within Bloomberg. - Work on high profile events including video and audio mixing, ensure smooth camera movement and operations, camera framing, lighting, floor managing, and have a good solid understanding of sophisticated AV event systems. - Work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment involving live events, IPTV, video conferencing platforms (i.e. Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, etc.), training room management and general AV infrastructure support. - Meet with stakeholders to discuss audio and video requirements for events and ensure proper technical advice is provided. - Have solid experience as a live event technician, working closely with other AV team members across APAC and back up each other. - Troubleshoot system and provide solution if any issue occurs during the event. - Troubleshoot sophisticated audio, video, switching and control systems problems in the best of its capability. For any items that cannot be troubleshooted, the dedicated resource shall communicate this to the Bloomberg point of contact. - Possess problem-solving skills and resolve issues proactively. - Handle technical, event and incident management escalations in a timely manner. - Set up and test videoconference with other remote locations. - Manage audio setup to ensure proper sound level for audience inside the MPR; and good sound quality and level are received in remote locations. - Document event/operational workflows and standard operating procedures ("SOPs") when required. **WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**: **Education and Experience**: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a live event technician, demonstrating proficient AV system operation and troubleshooting in high-pressure environments. - Experience working with sophisticated AV event systems and corporate AV needs is crucial. **Technical Skills**: - Proven expertise in operating professional audio, video, lighting, and rigging systems. - Advanced understanding of AV signal routing, mixing, and control systems. - Proficiency in video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, etc. - Experience in live camera operations, vision mixing, lighting techniques, and floor management during live events. - Working knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for working with AV equipment and electrical systems. **Software Proficiency**: - Expert knowledge of AV control software and configuration tools. - Experience with video editing software for post-production tasks. - Ability to manage AV-related ticketing systems efficiently. **Personal Qualities**: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage team. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to dynamic environments and unexpected situations. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. - High level of professionalism and ability to maintain composure under pressure. **Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trends.** - EOS is committed to creating a d
