Climate Impact X (CIX) is a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace that aims to scale the voluntary carbon market; through a joint venture by DBS, SGX, Standard Chartered and Temasek.

CIX offers distinct platforms and products that cater to the needs of different carbon credit buyers and sellers. The Exchange facilitates the sale of large-scale high-quality carbon credits through standardised contracts - catering primarily to MNCs and institutional investors. The Project Marketplace and Auction offer a curated selection of NCS projects that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. Each project on the Project Marketplace and Auction is supported by transparent impact, risk and pricing data.

**Key Responsibilities for Platform Intern**
- Collaborate with product managers to capture business requirements of the various CIX platforms
- Work alongside designers and developers to conceptualise and prototype design solutions
- Help conduct usability tests or user interviews for product iteration, synthesise user research through the creation of affinity maps, customer journey maps, deliver concepts, creation of personas, storyboards, user flow, prototyping, wireframing etc.
- Assist the lead designer to review design and front-end development consistencies of CIX platforms to enhance user experience, ensuring alignment to CIX's goals alongside market viability and technical visibility
- Conduct competitor analysis on user expectations such as doing heuristic evaluations on usability, element analysis, layout comparisons etc.
- Cross collaboration across multiple work functions and vendor management

**Experience**

We're looking someone who:

- Prior experience with product management or UI/UX design
- Relevant experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Is a fast-learner, detail-oriented, an independent thinker and problem solver
- Has an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude towards learning about the carbon space
- Is interested in sustainability and keen to make an impact in tackling climate change
- Is able to commit a minimum duration of 6-months full-time (ideal)
