**Accounts Executive - Freight Forwarding**

This position will support the company’s accounting services to provide proper recording and processing of financial transactions. Work closely with clients to ensure proper expense recording, processing and timely clearing of aged accounts. Provide continual effort in identifying areas of improvements to refine financial processes to enhance end to end functionalities by ways of automation. Timely and accurate preparation of financial closing. This person will report directly to the Accounts Manager.

**Key accountability include the following but not limited to**:

- Tracking and reporting freight status through the cargo wise systems
- Issuing and recording of tax invoices
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end and financial reporting
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and perform credit control
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Compute taxes and prepare annual tax returns and GST filing
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in freight forwarding industry
- Minimum 1 year of working experience as accounts executive
- Experience in using cargo wise system
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and/or Xero Accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

**Contract Type**: 12 Months (Renewal)
**Salary**: SGD2,800 to SGD3,500
**Location**: Pagoda Street
**Working Hours**: Office Hours Mon to Fri 9 am to 6 pm
**Commencement**: Immediate
**Working Environment**: Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
