At Tanglin Arts Studio, we will take every child on a magical journey through dance from early childhood to the end of secondary. You will help them grow, gain more confidence, obtain life skills and learn the techniques needed to become the best they can be.

Our students are a unique team of young dancers from around the world, and we only speak the language of dance Our teachers need to be aware of the various cultures of the students. We are looking for an all-round teacher with ATOD and Acrobatic Arts knowledge, and good choreography skills for competitions and shows.

The styles we teach include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Acrobatic, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.

Our studio values a joyful and playful atmosphere, especially for our early years program. We are looking for a teacher who can help contribute to that environment and bring out the magic in each student. At your heart, you love to dance and teach to give your students this joy if you nurture your young students with kindness, respect and encouragement. If you enjoy the immediacy and spontaneity of children and understand the importance of play and imagination in early childhood development. **Job Description**:

- full time 5 days a week - Saturday mandatory from 9 am till 6 pm.
- teaching all levels, from toddlers to adults
- monthly salary

**Requirements**:

- fluent (mother tongue level) English
- able to teach all levels of ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatic
- able to prepare lesson plans for dance classes and dance camps, as well as performances, dance competitions, and other opportunities
- able to independently choreograph, plan and organise classes for all ages
- understand the importance of safe dance practice and avoiding injuries during class
- at least 5 years of dance teaching experience (without student assistant teaching)
- higher education in dance and teaching
- able to work independent
