Assistant Teacher

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing Mindchamps’ unique lesson plans and enrichment programmes in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the Centre
- Assist in guiding primary school students to ensure completion of their daily homework and other school assignments, including spelling revision
- Assist in the preparation of teaching resources and materials
- Serve as a positive role model with a creative spirit and a champion (growth) mindset
- Conduct daily health checks for students
- Ensure safety of students at all times
- Guide and manage students using positive discipline techniques
- Manage other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Centre Director
**Job Requirements**
- Experience/passion in interacting with primary school students
- Exposure to MOE primary school syllabus
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and nurturing with a good ability to connect well with children
- Proposed working hours: Mon to Fri, 1pm to 7pm (flexible hours can be discussed)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per month
